Artist's Description

1950 Jaguar XK 120. First introduced in 1948, the Jaguar XK120 was a sports car noted for its streamlined elegant design. Apart from the look, it was also famous for its twin-cam straight-six cylinder engine, which was powerful yet reliable. The XK120 and its successors, XK140 and XK150, faced little competition, with only the equally successful Porsche 356 preventing it from dominating the market for affordable sports cars.
