Throwing Weight #1 metal print by Chris Ware. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

8th August 1951: Athlete Thomas Brown competing in the weight throwing event at the Strathallan Highland Games at Bridge of Allan in Stirlingshire. Highland games are held all over Scotland, and descendants of Scottish immigrants have preserved the tradition in Canada and America. Typical events include dancing, tossing the caber (a pine wood pole approximately 5 metres long) and throwing the weight, a ball weighing about 25 kg.
