Hubert Julian, Negro aviator who at one time was the entire air force of Abyssinia, shown on his arrival at Floyd Bennett Airport, New York, September 8th, to prepare for a projected long distance flight to India. He will use a Bellanca high-wing monoplane, powered with an oil burning engine. The cost of fuel for the flight is estimated at under $20.
