Insects (Hymenoptera), left side: 1) Gall wasp (Cynips scutellaris), a. wasp with gall nut, b. split gall nut with larvae, c. female wasp; 2) Birch Sawfly (Cimbex femoratus, or Cimbex betulae), 2a. female, 2b. male, 2c. opened cocon, and 2d. larva; 3) Microgaster nemorum - with larvae, wich cumming from caterpillar of Anomalon circumflexum, 3a. male; 4) Steely-blue wood wasp (Sirex juvencus), female, 4a. pupa, 4b. larvae; 5) Pine sawfly (Lophyrus pini), larvae, male, cocon; bottom: female; 6) Pine moth sickle wasp (Anomalon circumflexum); 7) Rose bedeguar gall, female (Diplolepis rosae, or Rhodites rosae); 8) Mature gall on a rose plant; 9) Ichneumon fly (Ephialtes imperator), male, and egg laying female. Right side: 1) Megachile parietina (or Chalicodoma muraria) with nest; 2) Violet carpenter bee (Xylocopa violacea) with nest; 3) Patchwork leafcutter bee (Megachile centuncularis) with nest and cut leaves; 4) Large earth bumblebee (Bombus terrestris) with nest; 5) Ruby-tailed wasp (Chrysis ignita); 6) European hornet (Vespa crabo); 7) Red-banded sand wasp (Ammophila sabulosa); 8) Paper wasp (Polistes gallicus, or Polistes gallica) with nest and female wasp; 9) Fen mason wasp (Odynerus simillimus, or Odynerus parietum).
