Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. 31st January 1953: A controlled test reveals the frightening speed with which clothes can catch fire. After only twenty seconds of contact with an electric bar heater, a dresshas become a ball of flame that would easily prove fatal to the wearer.
