(Original Caption) 6/30/1979-Masaya, Nicaragua: A young Sandinista guerrilla holds a slingshot in one hand and a pistal in the otheras he is surrounded by his older comrades in the rebel held town. The city was quiet but the rebels skirmished with the ntionl Guard East of Masaya in an attempt to outflank the guard main battle line South of Rivas.
