(Original Caption) 1888-Detroit, MI: This photo of Henry ford was made in 1888. It was on April 11th of that year that he married Clara Bryant, Daughter of a neighboring farmer. The date was the Bride's birthday. The young couple stood before Rev. Stephen W. Frisbie of St. Paul's Church. Young Henry wore a Prince Albert Coat. Henry Ford would often recount the scene. He wasn't nervous. "I was my own best man, and what was ther to be nervous about?" ther was no honeymoon in the modern sence. They began their life together in the happiness of moving to their new home.
