Hoffman along with other defendants of the Chicago Seven face contempt of court charges in a new trial to begin Oct. 29th. The contempt charges stem from behavior of the defendants and their attorneys during '69-'70 trial in which they were acquitted on charges of conspiring to cross state lines to incite rioting at the Democratic convention.
