Fighting Yanks in all parts of the world are using a new chemical, DDT, as a protection against the typhus-carrying body louse and other dangerous insects. Here the mattresses in an army barracks are sprayed with DDT solution that fights bedbugs. Operators wear masks to prevent breathing enough of the chemical to harm themselves.
