(Original Caption) 2/18/1951-Arlington, VA: Lillian Ann Baumbach, the first master plumber- female, that is -in the Arlington area, carries a man-sized wrench as she starts out on a repair job. Lillian, who's 21 and pretty, started out in the trade at the tender age of 6 and is now service manager at the W. J. Baumbach Plumbing and Heating Co., her father's business. She's still single which ought to start many a bachelor examining his pipes.
