(Original Caption) August 27, 1922. Suspenders Not Necessary - Stick 'Em On. Eleanor Boardman, movie vamp in a new Neilan picture, decides that shoulder straps are entirely unnecessary to hold up a gown. Her maid uses a bit of mucilage and then sticks the draperies on. This is apt to result in farmers using glue to overall suspension. It would be [a] disaster if Eleanor's mucilage melted during the course of the picture. Film censors would come to the fore again.
