Description
(Original Caption) Willie Mosconi, of Philadelphia, youngest and probably the fastest pocket billiards player of all time seems to be playing with an attenuated baseball bat here, but he is in fact just getting the alignment of a cue preparatory to using it in play in the world's pocket billiard championship, tournament now in progress here. Although he is now only so. He got into the championship class in 1933, when he won the eastern sectional championship. He's doing right by himself in the current tournament to having won his first game from the veteran Bennie Allen of Kansas City, Missouri, by score of 125.
