(Original Caption) Walt Disney, (left), Deems Taylor, (center), noted music authority, and Leopold Stokowski, (right), conductor of the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, are pictured here discussing their work on Disney's latest extravaganza, Fantasia, a 2 1/2 hour symphony concert with animated accompaniment. It was recorded by an entirely new process making use of eight sound tracks. Microphones were scattered all through the instrumental section of the orchestra. Reproduction of the music will come from 60 loud speakers placed at various points of a theater instead of from one speaker behind the screen. Musical selections are interspersed by brief announcements from Taylor.
