(Original Caption) The North German Lloyd steamer Bremen arrived recently with the six men rescued from the British steamer Laristan which was sunk in the mid-Atlantic storm that done so much damage to shipping. Twenty-four other members of the crew were lost despite the efforts of the heroic German crew to get them off the sinking boat. Photo shows the Laristan photographed from the Bremen during her battle with the storm.
