(Original Caption) 6/30/1915-New York, NY: L to r: Dr. Alice Lewis and Dr. Cornelia Meaders, photographed June 30, when they took up thier positions as ambulance surgeons at Reception Hospital, on East 71st Street, New York. The territory which they are obliged to cover is one of the busiest, from a hospital standpoint, and one of the poorest sections of the city.
