Artist's Description

(Original Caption) 11/29/1927-San Francisco, CA: Radio was recently used by officials of the San Fransico Aid Society in attempting to quiet babies while undergoing their daily physical examination. After the tests, however, the nurse in charge did not seem to be over enthusiastic about the new idea. Photo shows group of babies at the San Fancisco Aid Society undergoing the new radio test.Image provided by Getty Images.
