Artist's Description

(Original Caption) Pebble Beach, California: Tom Watson literally jumps for joy from the rough onto the 17th green, after he chipped in a birdie putt on the par 3 hole, to go 6-under-par and win the U. S. Open tourney at that point. Just for good measure, he also birdied the 18th.
