Artist's Description

(Original Caption) This is the pitch that spoiled a no-hit game for Met's pitcher Tom Seaver in Wrigley Field on September 24th. Seaver throws the ball with two outs in the 9th and two strikes on Cub rookie Joe Wallis, (R). Wallis hit a single. Met's catcher is Ron Hodges and Umpire is Terry Tata. The cubs won game in 11 innings, 1-0.
