Artist's Description

(Original Caption) 7/21/1945-Seattle,WA- Little David Guy Myers, 3-yr-old great grandson of G.O. Guy, who invented the ice cream soda in 1872 in Philadelphia, mixes up a super-dooper chocolate soda on the 73rd anniversary of the birth of this American confection. Guy accidentally dropped ice cream in a vanilla soda water drink and the customer liked it so well that the new drink soon became popular.
