During one dry summer, a number of the Salt Flats in the Silicon Valley, Bay Area, in California, were drained of water for restoration purposes. A dry lake-bed was what was left over. The mud formations were absolutely stunning and created an out-of-world look. I came back here for sunrise and caught some glow in the clouds above.Don't you just love these mud-flats?
