The Comet, C1812, C1880 metal print by Print Collector.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description

The Comet, c1812, (c1880). Henry Bell's steam boat 'Comet', 40ft long (12.19m), powered by a 3hp Boulton & Watt engine, was the first successful steam boat in Europe. Built in 1811, she made her trial trip on the Clyde between Glasgow and Greenock on 12 January 1812, and went on to carry passengers on the Clyde between Glasgow and Greenock.
