(Original Caption) Captain Frank Courtney, the test pilot, gave an official display this morning in the new autogiro flying machine, at the royal aircraft establishment at Farnborough. The autogiro combines the features of aeroplane, helicopter and ornithopter. Slow, almost vertical descents, are possible with the engine stopped.
