Te Matua Ngahere, a giant Kauri [Agathis australis] tree growing in Waipoua Forest, Northland, New Zealand. The tree's Maori name means Father of the Forest. It is the second-largest Kauri tree in New Zealand and has the biggest girth of any tree in New Zealand ? over 16 metres.
