The sun sets above Chicago's west side as seen from atop the Willis Tower. Haze and clouds combine to provide a beautiful view of the end of daylight. As the sun breaks through the clouds and assumes a low angle in the sky it reflects off a number of metal surface in the city. The apparent ribbon of light below the sun is actually the rails on the Lake Street Elevated line and, in the foreground, it reflects off the roof of the rectangular-shaped United Center, home to the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls.
