Autumnal shot of the Old Bridge in Stirling, Scotland. Built around 1500, this bridge is downstream from the previous wooden bridge over the River Forth where Sir William Wallace defeated the English army at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297. This bridge also saw some action in 1745 with the southern arch being blown up to prevent the Highlanders crossing during the 1745 rebellion.
