Artist's Description

(Original Caption) Dash, in speed and style, is the keynote of the fourth annual "Sports Cars in Review" exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. Fifty-four cars from the U.S. and Europe were shown. Chief eye catcher was the Ghia "Gilda" (right, center), futuristically styled import from Turin, Italy, exhibited for the first time in the U.S. Equipped with a racing engine, the "Gilda" has clocked a fantastic 225 miles per hour in wind tunnel tests.Image provided by Getty Images.
