(Original Caption) 7/6/1965-War Zone D, South Vietnam: United States paratroopers of the 173rd Airborne disembark from their helicopters as they join with Vietnamese and Australian troops in operations against the Viet Cong in the guerrilla-infested "War Zone D." This is the second joint offensive against the Communist guerrillas in Zone D, which was also the target of a massive attack by B-52 bombers recently.
