(Original Caption) 6/5/1921-Dublin, Ireland Armed rebels destroyed dublin Custom House yesterday-the finest public building in the United Kingdom. Having commandeered a motor lorry they filled it with the tins of petrol and went to the Custom House. Here they informed the sentry that they came to deliver the petrol under a Government contract. Rushing the building they set it on fire. At least seven rebels were killed in the ensuing conflict. Photo shows the Large White Bridge with the famous Loop Line Bridge Spanning the River Liffey.
