(Original Caption) When raven-haired Nan Wynn tried out for the Glee Club during her high school days in Wheeling, West Virginia, she failed because she couldn't remember the words of the national anthem. Discovered recently by CBS talent scouts singing in one of New York's exclusive nightclubs, she was immediately signed as featured soloist on two programs. She has toured in vaudeville, sung with Rudy Vallee's band and made her debut on the Columbia network recently on the "Swing Session." She is shown in a close-up portrait.
