(Original Caption) New York: Yawl From Norway. Photo shows Pilot Wickstram of the sailboat Farhlannet shooting the sun by which method the members of the crew on the sloop were able to judge their position. This sextant is over 100 years old. The yawl came to the U. S. from Norway, crossing the ocean in 73 days. the boat was three sails, weighs 12 tons and is 45 feet long. In the entire crew were but three weather beaten Norwegian Mariners.
