Artist's Description

(Original Caption) Warm Frankfurters--Or Rawther--Hot Dog! Referring to the pedagogual extremities here exhibited by Hal E. Roach, whose comedies are known and laughed at the world over, and when Roach puts his foot down, he does so wearing shark shoes. A friend of his sent a shark skin to him, which he draped on the wall of his office at the Culver City Studios. But someone mentioned something about sharkskin making good shoes, and so the wall ornament was taken down, converted into a pair of shoes, and here they are.
