(Original Caption) Test New Laser. Princeton, N.J.: Scientists at RCA laboratories here measure the diffused beam of a 10-watt argon gas laser which NASA plans to use in earth-to space tracking communications experiments. The unit, now being tested at NASA's Goddard Space Flight center, may be used also to test the feasibility of lasers as beacons for night photos from satellites.
