Artist's Description
(Original Caption) 11/7/1952- In the as-yet unnamed Austrian satirical movie dealing with political life in the year 2,000, a seven-member World Defense Commission lands in a cosmic gondola in front of the Schoenburg Castle where the government offices are located. Their arrival is the result of the Austrian Prime Minister's declaration that Austria is free of 55 years of occupied "liberation," and this declaration has been declared an act of aggression by the world's High Court of Justice. Allied military police detchments, clad in atom-proof uniforms and armed with super-modern atom weapons, clear the grounds and stand guard as the cosmic gondola comes in for a landing.
