Artist's Description

(Original Caption) Satchel page, Hall of Fame pitcher and a legend in his own time, died 6/8 at the age of 75. He is shown in 1965 when he was a with the Kansas City Athletics. A rocking chair was set up for him near the A's bull pen and nurse Sandra Damon was stationed nearby to serve him coffee between innings.
