The St. Sava Temple in Belgrade in Serbia is the largest Orthodox church in the Balkans and one of the ten largest church buildings in the world.The building of the church structure is being financed exclusively by donations.The facade is in white marble and granite and by night radiates in an impressive white glow.The dome of this really imposing cathedral with its gold plated cross is 82 m. high, it has totally, with its four galleries, a surface area of 5.120 s.m., the choir gallery seats 800 singers and the bell towers have 49 bells.
