Sunrise over the Saguaro National Park with a perfect mature Saguaro Cactus silhouetted in the foreground. Composed to present the cactus 'arms' symetrically and for the subject to fill the frame whilst leaving ample room for the strong sunset colours in the background. This particular specimen is probably over 120 years old. The Saguaro cactus not only epitomises the cactus plant family but is also symbolic of 'the Senoran Desert', Arizona and Mexico' and perhaps 'the Wild West'.
