An evening in Rome is not complete without witnessing sunset at the Tiber River. This shot was taken from one of the bridges spanning across the river. You are most likely to run across the river at some point of time during your stay in Rome. Though it was a bit dirty and had a sort of mirky greenish water plus the river banks were muddy and smelt like old piss. I went down from the street level to the river banks to get some shots and oh my.. the smell was unbearable. But if you are interested in getting away from the hustle and bustle from the streets above, walking along the banks below the street level is a good way to do so. They are quite some areas where it was quite dry and does not stink..that much. But don't expect to experience the same feeling as walking along the Seine in Paris or the Danube in Budapest ;)
