(Original Caption) 10/26/1951-New York, NY- Joe Louis (L) appears shaken by a right uppercut from Rocky Marciano during their scheduled 10-round bout at Madison Square Garden. Heavyweight Marciano, of Brockton, Mass., scored a TKO over the ex-champion at 2:36 of the eighth round, sending him through the ropes, probably back into retirement.
