(Original Caption) 6/25/1952-New York, NY- Middleweight champion Ray Robinson flattens on the canvas after swinging, missing, and falling, in the thirteenth session of his scheduled 15-round title bout with light-heavyweight champion Joey Maxim, who stands over the challenger as flash bulbs pepper the scene from ringside. In the sweltering heat that drove referee Ruby Goldstein from his post in the 10th round, Maxim retained his crown on a TKO, when Robinson didn't answer the bell for the 14th round.
