(Original Caption) Just twenty-one years ago on April 14, the greatest disaster in modern maritime history shocked the world when the S.S. Titanic, greatest ocean liner at that time, struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic on her maiden voyage, and sank with 1635 aboard. Over 700 passengers, mostly women and children were saved in the heroic annal of the sea. This photo shows the last radio message from the ship, sent when she was sinking.
