Description
(Original Caption) J. G. Parry Thomas at Pendine, Carmarthen Bay England with the world's largest racing car. "Babs" by which name the monster is known, retains its title of "the car they cannot let out." It was built by the late Count Zborowski and has a 400 H.P. Liberty airship engine and is 10,000 cc larger tan the Sunbeam car in which Malcolm Campbell recently achieved a world's record. Thomas has had it up to 140 miles per hour with the throttle on three quarters open but has not been able to hold it any faster. It is shown at a start of a test run with front wheels touching the timing device.
