Artist's Description

(Original Caption) 4/12/1925-Chicago, IL: Here's the way Rabbit Maranville, one of the aces of baseball, looked when he hobbled off a train in Chicago to await the return of his teammates. His right ankle, broken during the training trip, is mending nicely and now he's able to get around handily, or, rather, footily. He states he'll be ready to play on May 1st.
