(Original Caption) March 26, 1931 - San Juan, Puerto Rico: A tremendous reception was given to President Hoover when her arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Thousands gathered along the line of March to voice their greeting. The U.S.S. Arizona which carried the presidential party anchored at Ponce, from where the party reached San Juan by automobile. The President is seen driving through San Juan with Governor Theodore Roosevelt of Puerto Rico, in a fair representation of a New York City ticker tape shower.
