(Original Caption) Indian Mohammedans at Prayer. A strong Mohammedan revival is sweeping India as a result of what Moslems believe is deliberate and unjust Christian aggression upon Turkey, and open prayer as shown in this picture is again becoming prevalent. The Hindu leader Gandhi, who as head of the non-co-operationists is trying to bring about a bloodless revolution against English rule, is believed to be playing into the hands of the Mohammedans, who under the brothers Ali, are said to wait their chance to displace the British in the control of ancient India. The Mohammedans are the warriors and strongmen of this unhappy country.
