(Original Caption) Casey Stengel, manager of the New York Yankees, waves a farewell to Yankee Stadium with his fedora as he heads for home and relaxation. Casey still gets an ache when the name of Burdette is mentioned. Burdette, in case you've been in a coma for the last week or so, is the pitcher of the Milwaukee Braves who clobbered the Yankees three times in the World Series. "Old Case" still has a proud record, though. He's won six out of eight world championships.
