Description
Following recent colorectal/colon cancer surgery, a subcutaneous IV infusion chemo port was embedded in this senior man's upper chest to facilitate bi-weekly adjuvant chemotherapy treatments. After a few hours of initial infusion at the hospital cancer center, he is now at home attached to a portable battery-powered IV pump carried in that waist pack. An infusion needle clamped to his chest port is connected with a plastic tube through which additional chemo drugs are continually dripped for the next two days. He is looking down and pulling up his t-shirt to make sure the tube is not pinched or otherwise obstructed. Part of my "Living with Cancer" series - #775615186.
