(Original Caption) 9/5/1953-Munich, Germany: Famed screen writer Nunnally Johnson, who is producing and directing the 20th Century Fox film "Nightpeople," records an appeal for contributions to the Crusade for Freedom which supports the broadcasts of Radio Free Europe to the subjugated People of Communist held Eastern Europe. Johnson's message and those of the film's stars Gregory Peck, Rita Gam and Broderick Crawford, will be broadcast by hundreds of American stations.
