(Original Caption) 11/5/1952-Stanford, CA- Dr. Felix Bloch, Stanford University Professor of Physics and Dr. Edward Purcell, of Harvard University, are expected to win the joint Nobel Award in Physics. Announcement of Award is expected shortly. Dr. Bloch is shown at work in his laboratory. The device is a nuclear induction spectometer used in determining properties of Atomic Nuclei.
