Description
Moutoullas is a mountain village in the Troodos mountains, in Nicosia District of Cyprus, at an elevation of 800 m.
The old village church (not the one on this photo), the 13th-century chapel of Panagia tou Moutoulla, is known for its frescoes. It was built in around 1280 and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 (together with 9 other churches in the region, known as the Painted churches in the Troodos region).
