Artist's Description

(Original Caption) The life of a model isn't all its cracked up to be, either. Consider lovely Helen Hagen, who was recently selected as the 1949 Sweater Girl. You see her here, toying with frozen water after she was selected as "Miss Ice Centennial" at the Annual Convention of the National Association of Ice Industry. The icemen are celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the invention of the first American ice-making machine at the Hotel Commodore. Miss Hagen isn't robed for ice festivals.
